The Lifeline Classic 2021 is on! Get on board and make a life-saving difference.

Donate to a team today!

We’re holding the fifth annual Lifeline Classic surf comp, to raise much-needed funds for Lifeline Northern Beaches.

We have further postponed the Classic competition day - due to flat surf conditions - to Saturday, 18 December.

More than just a day of surfing, the Lifeline Classic is a celebration of our strength as a community. Our slogan: Good Vibes Save Lives!

Why Lifeline Northern Beaches needs you.

Demand for our crisis support services is higher than ever. All our services are free or low-cost, so donations are vital to funding these services.

In the last year we have:
• Answered more than 66,000 crisis calls
• Answered more than 81,000 Lifeline Texts
• Increased counselling services by 150%
• Held more than 2,500 face-to-face sessions

Why take part in the Lifeline Classic?
• Make your mark in the waves to support your community
• Help Lifeline to provide life-saving support services to our community
• Support your physical and mental health
• Raise awareness of an issue that affects people close to all of us
• Earn the chance to surf alongside legends in uncrowded waves

“The Lifeline Classic is about celebrating our community’s love of the waves, and the role that surfing plays in our collective happiness and mental health. Good vibes really do save lives!” David Thomas, Lifeline Northern Beaches CEO.

Save lives in your own backyard.

While the name ‘Lifeline’ is national, Lifeline centres (like Lifeline Northern Beaches) are locally run. ALL funds raised directly support the mental health of the Northern Beaches. By taking part in (or donating to) the Lifeline Classic, you’re saving lives in your own backyard.
